Best c(gl)amping spots in the UAE part 6 | Jebel Hafit

I stumbled upon Jebel Hafit Desert Park during my search for camping and glamping options in the UAE, and I was thrilled! Nestled amidst the majestic Jebel Hafit Mountain, Abu Dhabi’s tallest peak, this UNESCO-recognized gem is a pivotal part of the Al Ain World Heritage Site.

At Jebel Hafit Desert Park, you’re spoiled for choice. Whether you’re keen on pitching your own tent or seeking a more luxurious experience, the options abound. We opted for the convenience of a well-appointed air-conditioned room, complete with a cozy bed, a quaint majlis, and an outdoor space equipped with a fire pit, which was a rare choice for us, given how adventurous we usually are and love sleeping in tents.

For those craving a taste of glamping, look no further than Pura Eco Retreat. Offering various room types to suit every preference and budget, from the rustic Traditional Heritage Tents to the avant-garde Skylight Domes and Sky Bubbles, this retreat promises indulgence at every turn. With a limited number of rooms in each area, you’re assured of an exclusive and intimate experience, far from the madding crowds.

Navigating to Pura Eco Retreat is a breeze, with no need for a 4×4 vehicle.
